“Love is meant to be an adventure”
Thank you Gordon B. Hinckley, for this quote.
May your hearts be filled with love, always…
Life’s too short not to… wouldn’t you agree?
Wow! So much has happened this month and it’s been a while since my last post. To bring you all back up to date, I’ve decided to create a summary of “Jo’s Joys of July”.
This year and this month have truly provided more ‘layers of the onion’ being peeled. More healing – if that’s possible, and new lessons learned. That means, letting go of anything that holds me back or brings me down. Even though this has been an ongoing journey, I am now (officially) dedicated and committed to allow room for only positive contributions (thoughts, choices, relationships, etc.). To some, this may sound crazy, to me this makes a lot of sense.
Must focus on good investments, positive reinforcements, and supportive beings – in every area of my life. This translates to having more time for joy, laughter, happiness, meditation, fulfillment of dreams, volunteer work, and contributing to causes that are dear to my heart.
I challenge everybody to make this commitment for themselves.
Now, more so than ever, it is imperative to FEEL GOOD!
Earlier this month, I attended a 3-day MYM event, which turned out to be a transformational experience. Much gratitude. Where there was once confusion or fuzziness, clarity is the result. I highly recommend attending any one of their workshops! They do offer some FREE training sessions as well. For anybody who is interested in finding out more, here’s a link.
What else has happened? New relationships are being formed. Amazing new clients, received. Exciting new projects have commenced. Fantastic new friends, found. Aligning with more like-minded peeps!
Gosh, there’s just been so many new and exciting experiences lately…
A new Joint Venture partner, too! Miller Marketing – Virtual Creative Department… For more info visit my website or get in touch with me.
Today, I am living my life on new ground, and it feels great! Life on the other side of fear, is actually not so scary. In case you were wondering…
Cheers to you and cheers to an AWESOME AUGUST!
Sending happy vibes to all!
AWESOME! Supporting wellness and joy!
Not too certain where this quote originated:
“Your body hears everything your mind says stay positive.”
~ Author unknown.
Thank you to the one who discovered these words for this wonderful quote makes absolute sense. Really! Think about it.
When our minds are overloaded from concentration, our bodies feel tired and achy…
When our minds feel inspired and full of wonder, our bodies are pumped with extra joy…
Here’s to a day filled with wonder, joy, and inspiration!
Today is Wellness Wednesday. Is it an International holiday or something? No. Just a Wednesday. And everyday ought to focus on wellness. So, why not call today, Wellness Wednesday…
A day to consciously focus on bettering the wellness within.
Do something to improve your wellness today! Something that rebuilds your strengths for better tomorrows…
Need permission? Granted.
Enjoy every minute…
Hot Day? Can’t get your dog to drink water? I’m no vet, I’m a dog lover and my dog LOVES his water. No joke. I honestly thought every pooch loved guzzling back a good half litre of water after long walks…
NOT TRUE! Just this morning, as I stopped to say hello to a fellow dog owner and her dog, she informed me that her dog barely drinks water, it’s more of a chore rather than a pleasure.
My suggestion was to add a small sip of green tea to her dog’s water dish, when they returned home from their leisurely Sunday stroll.
Now, again, I’m no vet, all I know is my dog ~ Van Gogh, LOVES his water. He’s going on 12 years this summer and he still plays like a puppy (most of the time). He’s always loved his water, and frowns at me if the dish is running low or needs refreshing. He’s enjoyed sips of green tea since he was around 2-3 months of age. I don’t give it to him everyday, not even necessarily every week. Whenever I make green tea for myself (or friends), I’ll add a splash to Gozer’s water dish, too… he’s part of the family, after all. What happens next? He stands at his dish and sips like there’s no tomorrow..
So, if you’re having troubles getting your pooch to drink water, try adding some green tea to their bowl. You never know, they might get excited for their morning drink, before the walk. Wouldn’t that be amazing?
Warning : I am not a veterinarian, I do not hold a PHD. This is a suggestion based on personal experiences. Please know, you are making this decision at your own risk and there are no guarantees your dog will improve by trying this experiment.
Feel free to share this post or comment on your own experiences.
We must remember to breathe, in all that we do. For what is a life if we are living in heart palpitation mode?
Life is meant to be appreciated, enjoyed, lived – and the most important element is to breathe. Literally. Living and breathing go hand in hand.
There is no breath without life, there is no life without breath…
Become an expert on breathing in healthy ways, like the Yogis and Buddhists do.
Take a deep breath in through your nose, hold it for as long as you can, then slowly exhale through your mouth while looking at the majestic photo that’s been added for your viewing pleasure.
Enjoy your day!
